Multidiciplinary Program in Immunology

Asilomar 2008

This year's program-sponsored "fun-time" activity was the first annual Rock Band competition, and it was a hit! Four bands competed and were encouraged to incorporate "immunofactor" into their appearance and song lyrics. The four bands were Chimera (Kacey Sachen, Jake Fathman, Michael Birnbaum), the Mile High Club - MHC (Michael Wong, Luis Zuniga, Oliver Crespo, Pearline Teo), TIL the end (Olivia Hatton, Aleishia Harris, Lu-En Wai, Lori Phillips), and C3b and the Breakdown Products (Peter Choi, Andrew Girvin, Angela Landrigan, Ken Schulz).

Song lyrics:

MHC's version of the Radiohead song "Creep"

C3b's version of the Flyleaf song "I'm so sick"

C3b's version of the Queen's of the Stonage song "Go with the Flow" (cytometry)

C3b's version of the Garbage song "I think I'm paranoid"

C3b's version of the Smashing Pumpkin's song "Cherub Rock"
